Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund and Return Policy explains how returns and refunds are handled at Rover Books.

This policy is publicly accessible at all times via the website footer and does not require customers to create an account, log in, or provide personal information to review.

1. Return Time Frame

We accept return requests for eligible physical items within 30 calendar days of the delivery date.

Return requests submitted after this period will not be accepted.

2. Return Method

All returns are handled by mail only.

Customers must contact support@roverbooks.com before returning any item to request authorization and receive return instructions.
Returns sent without prior approval may be refused.

3. Eligible Returns

Most physical products may be returned for any of the following reasons, including buyer’s remorse, provided that all conditions below are met:

  • The item is unused
  • The item is undamaged
  • The item is returned in its original condition
  • The item is returned in its original packaging

Items that show signs of use, writing, markings, damage, or alteration are not eligible for a refund.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Final-sale items, if clearly identified at the time of purchase
  • Items returned outside the 30-day return window
  • Items not returned in original condition

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to our error (incorrect item, damaged item, or missing components), Rover Books will pay for return shipping.
  • If the return is due to buyer’s remorse or any non-product-related reason, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

No restocking fees are charged unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase.

6. Refund Processing Time

After a returned item is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only
  • Refunds are processed within 3 business days
  • Additional time may be required for the refund to appear, depending on the customer’s payment provider

Shipping fees, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, customers must notify us within 7 calendar days of delivery.

We will review the issue and provide either a replacement or a refund at no additional cost.
